LOCATIONS: MUMBAI, NAVI MUMBAI, LATUR & JAIPUR
PROJECT DURATION: 90 DAYS
Established in 1967, Ansons & Anco Mechanical Works Pvt. Ltd. has two manufacturing units: Jogeshwari (Mumbai) & Palghar (Thane District).
Ansons & Anco Mechanical Works are leading manufacturers of a variety of water pumps; ranging from monobloc to solar powered water pumps.
This project was by far one of the most interesting ones which required video shoots at multiple locations (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Latur and Jaipur) along with capturing testimonials of various pump dealers as well as farmers; who were the actual customers and users of the water pumps.
We created customised logo animations for our clients, who are looking to create opening 3D logo animations↗ that really make the entire presentation out standing.
The management talk was captured at their Mumbai head office and the video testimonials↗ were captured at respective locations.
This was our second assignment for Ansons & Anco. We had previously photographed their water pumps at the Jogeshwari plant. The client was pleased with that work and subsequently commissioned the corporate video↗.
Confirming dealers' availability and filming locations was the main scheduling challenge. I called each dealer the day before the scheduled shoot to confirm arrangements. These were unscripted, on-site interviews, and we did not conduct advance location visits.
My opening question asked about their experience using Ansons & Anco pumps in daily operations. The interviewees reported no problems with the pumps or the company's service.
Ambient noise was a particular challenge at the Latur location, where filming took place inside the dealer's shop. We used a wired lapel microphone to record the interview and addressed the remaining audio noise during post-production.
The Palghar plant shoot included both ground-level and drone footage. The voice-over script guided the filming requirements and was later used to sequence the shots during editing.
We recorded three members of the top management at the company's Mumbai office. They shared their own thoughts about the company and its future, including solar-powered water pumps.
The overall voice-over script included planned breaks for the three management interview segments. These breaks provided defined places for their comments within the narrated corporate film.
